The Fonero project was launched in 2017 based on the CryptoNight algorithm. Gue to instability of the CryptoNote technology, in August 2018, the project team decided to change the algorithm and make a swap of blockchain.Fonero has 5 mining pools and uses the PHI1612 algorithm.
